What size are the Rental Cabins?

They are 2.4m wide and 4.2m long, includes patio area


Where do Rental Cabins deliver to?

Rental Cabins deliver anywhere within the Townsville area. However, delivery to other areas can be arranged.


Is a bond required?

Yes. Rental Cabins require a bond fee.


How is the Cabin power connected?

Power is connected to a standard 3m pin power point in your house. All you need to do is plug the supplied power lead into a 3 pin plug in your house. lt is connected at the cabin via a caravan plug.


Does the power supply have safety cut out?

A Residual Current Device (RCD) safety cut out out is fitted to the cabin.


Do Rental Cabins have power points?

Yes. Rental Cabins have two double power points.


Are Rental Cabins insulated?

Yes. Rental Cabins are fully insulated plus have a fitted box air-conditioner


Does Rental Cabins have flooring?

Yes. Rental Cabins are fitted with Industrial Vinyl flooring.


Is there a charge for pick up?

No. Rental Cabins do not charge a pick up fee at the end of the agreed rental period, this fee is included in the Delivery cost.


What is the minimum rental period?

The standard rental period is 12 months. However, shorter rental periods may be available as per our pricing page.


Are Rental Cabins suitable as a bedroom?

Yes. They make a perfect fully insulated sleep out for family or friends.


Can Rental Cabins be used as an office?

Yes. They make a perfect home office.


Can Rental Cabins be used for storage?

Yes. They are great for secure additional storage.


Is the patio removeable?

No. Rental Cabins are supplied with the patio, although the steps are removable.


Do I need a council building consent?

No. Rental Cabins are under 10m in area so no building consent is required.


Do I need a council resource consent?

The requirements across North Queensland vary from area to area but this is generally not an issue.

Does the cabin have any furniture?

No, the cabin is 4.2m x 2.4m of floor space
